Devin has been on the greatest adventure with Woodlands Elite since 2012. After falling in love with this amazing sport in 2003, he’s been afforded the opportunity to see cheer through many lenses. Devin has coached at the collegiate level and judged & choreographed nationally and internationally. He’s also been in management for over 15 years. Each experience has made him love cheer even more. Outside of WE, he is a fighter for love, a husband and father of 2 boys. They definitely put the “P” in Purpose. That purpose is to make everyone he comes in contact with feel valued and encouraged. He will be your biggest cheerleader.

Coach Casey Jo has been at Woodlands Elite since 2004. Her and her husband, Coach Michael, have made their career their ministry. She loves kids of all ages and enjoys all levels. CJ cheered at Trinity Valley, where she was a back to back champion, then moved on to the University of Houston for a year after. She graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy, but couldn’t walk away from Cheer. She has been married to Coach Michael for 20 years and they have 3 beautiful girls. CJ loves hugs so make sure to stop by anytime for a big squeeze.

Michael has been with Woodlands Elite going on 17yrs. His wife of 20 years and 3 daughters also cheer and work here at Woodlands Elite. Michael is a All Star coach and tumbling instructor! Although he works with older boys and girls he loves getting to work with the little ones just as much!

Mykella cheered competitively for 10 years, 5 years in Allstar and 5 years at the collegiate level! She cheered at Blinn College for 2 years where she won college nationals twice and then also cheered at Sam Houston State University for 3 years. She has been coaching for over 6 years! Fun facts about Mykella is that she is a triplet and they are all girls! Her favorite color is brown and her favorite food is a Philly cheese steak!

Amber graduated from SHSU with a degree in Nutrition and was captain of the SHSU COED Cheerleading Squad. She loves coaching flyers and beginner tumblers. In her free time she likes to bake and spend time with her family, raising her son. Amber was apart of Generals in 2012-2013 and is so excited to be back with her WE Family!

Iordan has been a part of the Woodlands Elite family since 2014. Because his parents were Olympic gymnasts and coaches, his love of gymnastics and tumbling began at a very early age. During his competitive years, Iordan became a national acrobatic champion and was awarded the title Master of Sport. After graduating college with a degree in physical education, he began his coaching career that took him to different parts of the world. He is fluent in 4 languages, enjoys grilling and all outdoor activities.

Johnny Phimphasone started his cheerleading career in 2003 and has been a part of various all-star cheer programs across the nation since then. He was the top All American Athlete for NCA in 2008 and performed for the half time show at the Hula bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has been teaching NCA cheer camps all over the nation for over 10 years, winning various awards such as Top Veteran instructor and Top Head instructor. Johnny has been coaching rec tumbling classes for over 12 years and has continued to build a solid foundation to what competitive cheerleading is all about.

Ryan joins Woodlands Elite from upstate New York, where he began his all star cheerleading and gymnastics journey at the age of 7. He continued to grow his love for cheerleading throughout high school, and eventually moved to Florida, where he attended the University of North Florida. Ryan pursued a degree in Healthcare Studies with a minor in Public Health, and cheered at the collegiate level for 6 years. During his time in Florida, Ryan was also a head instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association and began his all star coaching career. Ryan is passionate about transforming the lives of athletes through cheerleading and giving them a safe space to learn and grow. When Ryan is not in the gym he enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with his puppy. 

Mikaila is a Florida native joining us for her first year on Woodlands Elite staff. She has over 16 seasons of all star cheer, judging and coaching experience across the United States and Europe!
